The Spurs swingman turns 23 today

Julian Champagnie came to the San Antonio Spurs via a two-way contract in February of 2023 off waivers, playing in fifteen games averaging 11 points and 4 rebounds per game. He got a reputation as a bench spark plug with three-point range.

He re-signed with the Spurs this season and played in seventy-four games, starting in fifty-nine of them.

Time on the floor with Wemby and the starters could lead to more valuable playing time with the Silver & Black. He’s currently scheduled to playin San Antonio through the 2026-2027 season, underscoring what PATFO thought of him when signing hi to a four-year contract.

Today, we celebrate Julian (and his twin brother Justin, who is also a professional baller) as he celebrates his 23rd birthday.
