The Spurs will participate in both Sacramento and Las Vegas.

Now that the NBA Draft has come and gone (and free agency fast approaching), that also means something else is coming up: Summer League. The Spurs will participate in both the Sacramento California Classic (July 6-9) and Las Vegas Summer League (July 13-19). In Sacramento, the Spurs will face the Hornets, Kings and Chinese National Team, and in Vegas, they will face the Trail Blazers, Hawks, Pelicans and 76ers in the first round of the tournament.

Some good news for fans is all seven of their currently schedule games will be in the evening and nationally televised, so no hunting for streams or peaking at your phone at work this year!

It may not come with quite the hype last summer did with the highly anticipated debut of Victor Wembanyama in Silver and Black, but there will still be plenty for Spurs fans to look forward to. We should see the first of this year’s draft picks Stephon Castle and Harrison Ingram. (It doesn’t sound like Juan Nunez will be there, but that could change.) We may also see Sidy Cissoko and possibly third-year Spur (or two) like Blake Wesley, Malaki Branham or Dominic Barlow. There’s also their two-way players, who were Jamaree Bouyea, David Duke Jr. and Raiquan Gray to end the season.

Once the roster is announced we will let you know, but in the meantime, just know that more basketball is just over a week away!
